This beautiful, custom built lodge is a vacation in itself! The unique style and features, rustic timbers and upscale decor will be the perfect spot for your group! The beauty of the vaulted Great Room and wall of windows, provide warmth and fantastic scenery!
The spacious 3-level home has 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large kitchen-dining area, washer & dryer, large 3/4 wrap deck looking into the peaceful pines. The main level has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV and the lower family room has a gas fireplace with flat screen TV and ping-pong table. Surround stereo system wired throughout the home and to the outside deck.

The roads are paved to the lodge, except the driveway and there is plenty of space for parking. Garage is NOT available.
This lodge is located in the Gilded Mountain Development - just minutes from the ski slopes, hiking and snowmobile trails, 6 miles from Deadwood, 20 miles from Sturgis. The Gilded Mountain Clubhouse is available for your use which houses an exercise room, steam room, game room, lounging area with Wi-Fi, conference room for group gatherings and an outdoor area with heated swimming pool, 2 more hot tubs.

Working with the staff at Deadwood Connections was excellent, and they gave us answers to questions we didn't even know how to ask. They were so easy to work with and plan our trip. They were more than patient and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and directions getting there. Everything was so smooth and easy, it was almost like we'd already been there and knew how to get around.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Ore Car, The Outback, 7th Heaven and Alpine Escape. We rented 4 houses to hold 41 for a family reunion. We had one hiccup with plumbing, and the staff was ready and willing to come help immediately (but we did get it fixed ourselves as our son is a plumber). It was a small issue, and otherwise each house met and exceeded our expectations, and we had plenty of room, and then some, to sleep all of us comfortably. Everything we needed (except food) was stocked and it felt like we were at home. And to top off every night, we had a wood burning fire in the porch fireplace. It was a dream come true!!!

Very clean and spacious. Great supplies on hand. Good layout for having groups on main floor (us), upstairs (older or maybe parents with younger kids), and downstairs (noisy young adults lol). Bring some firewood with you as you will love the outdoor fireplace. Cabs from cabin to downtown Deadwood ran $35 for group of 6 adults and $25 for 2 one way. Have cash for cabs. Overall great property!
