This is a 3-level cabin with 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds and 1 set of bunk beds), + loft (1 queen bed + pull-out sleeper) and 2 full bathrooms. The main level is an open, welcoming living-dining and kitchen area with wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD player and a walk-out to the deck with hot tub. The lower level features a family room with a large, flat screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD player and high-definition cable. The loft also includes a flat screen TV with DVD player.
The cabin has high-speed wireless Internet, central air-conditioning, plenty of parking, fully paved roads and is located just 8 miles from Deadwood and 20 miles from Sturgis.
Gilded Mountain Subdivion has a Clubhouse with a game room, outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna and meeting room for family gatherings, meetings and conventions. Our family and friends have been going out to the hills for many years riding UTVs. Very nice location, easy access to trails, fuel and a night out. The house had all the accommodations we were expecting. We had a great weekend getaway. Would stay in the Gilden Mtn area again.

Great place, very nicely appointed in a neat little community. Access to the clubhouse was a huge plus for our kids. Our stay overlapped a bit with the Sturgis motorcycle rally, but other than hearing a random bike here and there, it was very pleasant and peaceful, more so than I would have expected during that time.

The house was exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of space for two families and everyone had lots of room. The house was clean and the hot tub was perfect. Very close to Lead so we could run into town to get supplies. Would stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at Slingshot Lodge, it was perfect for the 4 of us that stayed and would gladly stay there again. I will say that if you are going with small children maybe bring a baby gate for the staircase to the lower level :)

The Slingshot cabin we stayed in over Thanksgiving break was beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for our family of six. The private hot tub on the deck and the clubhouse (which has a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, sauna, pool table, poker table and unstocked bar for entertaining) were amazing! We really enjoyed exploring the area even though it is slightly chilly this time of year. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be planning another trip to the Gilded Mountain community in the future!

The Slingshot was the perfect place for my large family! Hot tub, grill, and cozy welcoming cabin made it easy to relax and enjoy where we stayed! The pool was fun at the clubhouse right around the corner, and even with the Rally going on in the Hills, it was quiet and peaceful. Truly beautiful and we hope to make it back next time were in the Hills!

We enjoyed our time in the cabin! Exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious, and close to activities. We had an issue with the TV not working the first day, but the property repairman was quick and had it fixed in no time. The kitchen was a good size, hot tub worked well, and the community pool was perfect. It was a very nice cabin to come home to after a day of excursions! two quick suggestions - Kleenex would be helpful to have in the cabin, and the first floor bedroom is so much more comfortable without the pillow top layer. We removed it during our stay and slept awesome! Thanks for hosting us!
