Elk Creek Retreat - Paved roads, garage, GREAT location!

We rented the property to go side-by-side riding in the Black Hills everything at our fingertips and very well equipped there wasnt anything missing that we needed Date of arrival - September 30, 2022

Great place to stay!

I cannot say enough positive about this house. Great location, close to Deadwood, Nemo and roads to explore on the Razor. The garages were great for the razor trailer and truck. There were wild turkeys and deer in the yard in the morning and evenings. We were sad to leave. Thank you for a great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elk Creek Retreat. The house was very clean and the location was perfect for all the tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

We selected this property rental due to the location. We trailered our motorcycle from out of state and took day trips to the Black Hills, Bad Lands, Mt Rushmore/Crazy Horse, and Devil's Tower. The location was perfect. The home is private and secluded- just as pictured. There are other homes nearby, but we did not see or hear anyone all week. The feel of the cabin is rustic, and all of the furnishings and bedding were extremely comfortable. We slept great! The kitchen is fully stocked, and we had everything we needed to cook and grill in the evening. Having permission to use the garage was also beneficial as we could park our truck and motorcycle inside after every trip. One of the highlights was drinking coffee in the am and cocktails in the pm while sitting on the back balcony. We were greeted every time by a doe and a fawn (still had spots) that would feed in the front and back. It was so relaxing. Please note- the rental has an AC unit on the second floor. We really didn't need it the week we were there as we were able to open the windows and the house stayed cool. Thank you Elk Creek Resort. We would love to return someday. Reviewer location - Ft. A great house that is located at a beautiful location in Deadwood. The house was well maintained and has amazing views of the surrounding area. Well worth the money.

Elk Creek Lodge is a wonderful choice for family or group accommodations, it was a great location and a great space! The description is very accurate, and you are close to any activity you want to do in the Black Hills! Our whole group rented UTVs from down the road, went on countless tours, scenic drives, motorcycle rides, eating, drinking etc! All of it was perfect distance to enjoy our vacation. Thank you!

Great place!

The property was The perfect location for arm off road Morris cycling. It was nice to have the garage to lock everything up in at the end of the night!

House was in the perfect location to do everything in the region you want to do. Spearfish is not far if you need things like from like a Walmart. We did the Badlands, Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, Sturgis, Deadwood. Location was perfect. Also visited all the local eateries and did some ATV on the trails. All was better than expected!

I never had to interact with anyone, which is great, I think. The information sent to me covered everything we needed.

The house was very comfortable, very well stocked, had a pretty creek running along it and is in a great location. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend!

The house was well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. There was plenty of towels, shampoo, soap for the bathroom. The house has radiant heat, which brought warmth and comfort. The downstairs bedroom did get a little chilly. Great place. Well worth the money.

Great cabin in a great location!

Absolutely amazing cabin this this is the second year in a row that we've stayed here and have loved it, great access to trails camp 5 is a must the creeks was a great thing for the kids and corn hole for the adults in the garage just an amazing relaxing stay.

Wonderful accommodations just as shown in the photos. Garage was great to store side-by-sides overnight. Location was perfect for access to the riding we were looking for. Date of arrival - September 16, 2021
